Overview Of Market Publishing Options Available To Authors

Before you embark along any particular publication route, it is a good idea to appreciate the various options available.  Understanding & appreciating these options will help identify the route most appropriate for your work. As an author there are several publishing options available.  They are as follows:

1. Sign up with a traditional style publisher, using Traditional distribution channels.
2. Use a Print On Demand service (with appropriate distribution channels)
3. Print small quantities at a time (e.g. 5, 25, 100, etc) and have then drop shipped to organisations that are interested in retailing your book (i.e. outside the general book trade) and/or distribute them yourself
4. Publish via eBook format
